If any of you need any help getting started, let us know and we'll be more than willing to help you out :) Protip: Get some workshops started
It's a scandal indeed. Good think I got my approval this morning. All we gotta do now is recruit a few more people and Bergen is good to go!

Potential 35 yo recruit from Bergen here with an Anovos TK DIY kit soon on the way from the US. At the moment it is sitting at the freight forwarding company. My goal is to have it finished before the Rogue One premiere, but I won't rush the procedure and it will also have to compete with my other passion which is Star Wars LEGO. Was wondering if anyone else in the Bergen area are either currently working on their TK/other costume or thinking about joining the community? It would be fun to get something going here if at all possible. I know for certain I'm not going to let the armor sit in a closet when it's done!
Wohoo, Christmas Eve + birthday in one go!
TK kit finally arrived and thank the Emperor it's the correct color (a few Anovos customers got the shadow trooper kit instead of the normal TK)! Time to get busy and have the band aids handy...

Here's another one :D

I have been by this board earlier on, but it seemed there were some technical issues and I couldn't register. Then I forgot.

I got in on the early Anovos deal May 2015, got my kit this spring (shipping through a good friend in Sweden) and have finally got some momentum building my storm trooper armour. So far I have had found whitearmor.net and this facebook group very helpful. A more local community should be good, though, both for actual events and for leads on local sources for resources and stuff for building costumes.

All aboard the Anovos train! Where are you from?

Bergen.

The deal was just too good to pass up. I am enjoying it very much and see that this could well only be the first...

Almost time to report for duty. I had the pleasure of taking my armor for a test run escorting two small witches (not the Dathomir kind, sadly) on Halloween. Great fun and a lot of positive response from both kids and grown-ups. Some kid even whistled the Imperial March!

And here is how it looked:

Now I'm fixing the Anovos belt to be up to basic 501st standard and then I'll probably submit my application. If anybody notices anything I should look at, please tell me.

should pass with flying colors :-) do you have left/right/back photos? And take the photo with a neutral background if possible, and some better light.
