Hi.
I saw in one of the older posts, that some guards have used the velveteen(velour) from Stof og Stil, I've found some red ones for the outer robes, but what would you recommend for the inner lining and the inner robes?

The velveteen I've currently seen in Stof & Stil isn't the kind I'd used for a guard. Prefer the type they currently have at Stof2000. (Called 'decorations velour').
For lining satin is a good option. I've gone with washed satin, which has a nice look and weight, imo.

Satin is not allowed for the 501st. Guards - do check the CRL´s here http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SP_CRL for the correct fabric to use, since both style, cut and fabric are different, and/or go to the detachment for the guards here : http://www.forcepike.net/
