Asking for advice of making my own Darth Revan costume

Post by 47011 »

Hi.
I am planning on making my own Revan costume and went through the 501st Legion costume reference. I have the hakama pants and fabric drapes done (needs finishing touches tho).

What I wonder if any of you have any advice on the diffent parts, in particular the armor and the belt? I have worked a bit with sleeping mat material (making a custom helmet), but do not know if that is a good choice here.

The fabric parts I think I have a good idea on, but if any special advice is out there, let me know :)

You'll definitely get good advice from here, we have Kenneth 24117 in the house. :D

He knows Expanded Universe costuming and the 501st standards for them.

And you can also go to the Flagship Eclipse Detachment, where you also can get a lot of help from costume mentors.

I´m one of them, though not on the Revan character ;)

Registration requires me to fill in Garrison where I am member or prospective member. Since I am quite new to this, I wonder if I can do that? Or what I can do? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can write NG as the Garrison, that you´re going to be a member at - you just don´t fill in the ID number before you get that one ;)
