Ok,

so I'we been strugeling with the sy,etri for some time now, I don't have all that much tme to work on it, and it seems that every time i look at it i find a new problem aerea...

this anoys the crap out of the perfectionist side of me, and uppsets the part of me that realy doesn't know any better....

so much so that I went on ebay looking for a posible helmet t buy (even thoug it would be expensive)

now here is the good part, looking at the kits awailable on ebay, i instantly felt better about my own creation, because my lord vader, how bad many of them are :) lol.

so long storry short, I'm moving avay from the bondo, and have invested in some modeling clay, so I can make the ajustments I need, without waiting for the bondo to set, and the sand like an idiot :)

Fingers crossed, it will be easyer :)

Uppdate.

I have mixed feelings about this clay stuff.

one the one hand, i love how easy it is to shape, and reform, but on the other hand, I don't have enough experience to make it as smooth as I want.

hoping i can sand it once it's baked :)

Ye, I realize that it's uneven at the botom :) wil be working on that :)

Nice!

For smooth top, you need to sand it more, and more, with more and more bigger grit wetsanding paper untill you hit the smoothness you want. Mind you, holes will show up, but fill in those, sand more, and you will get there.

Running out of clay now, must deside if i'm going to continue whit the Owen bake clay, or air drying clay..... hmmm.

Wonder how long it wil take to dry
