Where can I get...?
Do you know where to get just the right piece of tubing for a BFG barrel? Found a sewing shop that has the exact material used for a snowtrooper duster? Then post links here and let us all know

For my ESB Vader helmet I needed mesh for the "mouth" and found this at Biltema: http://biltema.se/sv/Bil---MC/Bil-tillb ... nat-32101/

Additional idea, update the first post every now and then to have alphabetical listing of everything mentioned?

Humbrol paints can be found in most hobby stores. See if you have a "Hobbex" near you.1mpulseS0D wrote:Where do i find nice white paint for painting on rivets, screws etc. on my TK armor?

Re: Where can I get...?
Hi!
Rubbing alcohol / Isopropyl for cleaning areas prior to applying decals, paint or glue. Especially decals.
I've spent hours in Gothenburg reading labels behind bottles of spirits and stuff, didn't find the name isopropyl there.
Anyone else used rubbing alcohol for that purpose in Sweden and may have pointers?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Nicky
EDIT: wait... so you say that hand sanitizer is like rubbing alcohol? I thought it was about rubbing things to dissolve residues... is rubbing alcohol for rubbing backs? :S

Um.. Isopropyl alcohol can be found in "Ytdesinfektion Plus", found at apoteket. The hand sanitizer is isopropyl alcohol as well, but with added oils and stuff you might not want for your particular application

For those living in Denmark who may not have a hobby store
nearby or haven't been able to find the correct stormtrooper
colors - Humbrol paints in all shades can be purchased from
the online store: www.holte-modelhobby.dk
The shipping is 25 DKK, which is quite low compared to
other dealers. Each color is priced at 15 DKK.
FYI here are the names of the colors they have:
(Source: www.whitearmor.net)
Humbrol5 (Dark Admiralty Grey) for ab buttons and helmet details
Humbrol14 (French Blue) for ab buttons and helmet tube stripes
Humbrol15 (Midnatsblå) for ab buttons and helmet tube stripes
Humbrol21 (Blank Sort) for vocoder, pin stripes and other helmet details
Humbrol22 (Blank Hvid) for armor rivets and helmet screws
Humbrol85 (Coal Black, Satin) for vocoder, pin stripes and other helmet details
