Re: Star Lord (Peter Quill) build thread
Thank you guys!
Here is some new pictures from the build.
First out is some before and after pictures of the Quad Blaster
Before

After

Blaster attached to the holsters that I sewed on. Each holsted pad with blaster clips took me 4 hours to sew by hand. This very thick leather had to be doubled sewed with vinyl thread to keep its strength

Here is the Star Lord purse ("Hey! It's a nap sack") weathered a bit. I think I will go over it again and give it a even heavier worn look

And again the weathered boots still missing their rockets

And then the big moment! The first test photo of the outfit!

And more

The parts missing:
- Boot rockets
- Rocket controls on the pants
- Second Quad blaster
- Headphones
- Sony Walkman
- Weathering of almost all parts
- Bleaching the jacket as close to as it looks like in the movie
Next post will be some close ups of the finished Helmet
HP out -

Re: Star Lord (Peter Quill) build thread
Well!
The trailer for the second movie just reminded me of this thread!
I finnished up the Star Lord in august and have been attending several conventions both in Norway and Sweden since!
Here are some more pictures
First up is Helmet, Baby Groot, Walkman and Infinity Orb all done!

A picture from the first day going around as Star Lord! Had and blast, and did several dance off's with convention goers at Torucon in Trondheim!

Another picture from Torucon

Next convention I attended was Banzaicon near my home town. Had and amazing weekend there!

Last up is a picture from SSGFC Helsingborg where I met a lot of great people! Some whom I met in Legoland earlier this year, and I got to meet a lot of new wonderful people of NG!
Also got to take a picture with Arti shah, the actress who played the physical Rocket Racoon on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy!

There you go!
Hope you like the costume ^^
It was really fun to build
