Ok, so, time for a new build thread!
Now it's about time that we get a Bacara up here in the North so I've been gathering stuff over the last few weeks. So, let me show you what Santa has brought a bit before Christmas.
First, the compulsory BBB shot:
And the, just as compulsory, exploded armor shot:
It's the tall set from a Known Maker, with foam inserts for the knees and elbows.
I also got a nice blaster from the UK, I think it's BFG, but I've heard other opinions about it. I however claim that it's how you handle it.
Aaand, of course there's the nice helmet from a-nice-guy-whom-most-of-us-know:
The helmet will be shipped off to a master painter (all Beavis&Butthead fans go 'you said.. masterpainter... uh huh huh...') to get fixed up and painted. I figured I have enough on my hands with the rest.
For the undersuit I got lucky with CE, since they had a prototype suit which I got a nice discount on plus 20-24 weeks *less* waiting time. It's a bit tight here and there, but it works. And no, you will not see me in it. My wife is still laughing...
Shoes are also ongoing, it's a pair of Adidas sneakers, nothing fancy.
The last parts are the belt, Bacara kit, back kit, and compad, but that's coming from another well known maker in 3-4 weeks.
Next step is full panic mode, then I'll get started. Pics to follow.
